Niobrara Wilderness Outfitters is a family owned and operated business that has been providing quality Nebraska hunts for over 20 years. Located in the heart of the Niobrara Scenic River Corridor, our properties consist of over 30,000 contiguous acres including 15 miles of river frontage. It consists of expansive rolling Sandhills interspersed with brush filled draws, canyons, river bottoms, and crop fields. This area is known for its trophy class big game animals, including both mule deer, whitetail deer, as well as turkeys.

We at NWO focus on quality over quantity.  Due to the expansive acreage that we have managed for over 20 years, it is normal to see and harvest mature animals that have been afforded the opportunity to reach their full trophy potential.  We limit our deer harvest based on population and habitat conditions which are evaluated on a yearly basis. This management philosophy offers you,  as a hunter,  the ability to pursue quality game that is unrivaled by most other outfitters. We have a passion for hunting and strive to share that with you.  This is 5-Star hunting experience not a 5-star lodge.  We provide you with home-style accommodations, hearty home-cooked meals, and an atmosphere where you come as strangers and leave as family.  Our past hunting success speaks for itself.  We do not guarantee success for our featured hunts.  However, our harvest percentage of mature game has been over ninety percent and the opportunity to shoot has been one hundred percent.

Each of our hunts is dedicated in memory of CPL Josiah W. Hollopeter.  Joe had a passion for hunting and spent many seasons on this property hunting with his father, brother, and nephew. He gave the ultimate sacrifice 14 June 2007 when he was killed in action while serving in Iraq.  His presence is always felt during the hunting  adventure.
